The short version

This app has no accounts, no ads and no tracking. It does not collect, sell or share personal information.

What the app uses

What the app's server keeps

The server stores downloaded weather history by map coordinates so repeat requests are fast. These files contain weather data only and are not linked to any person or device.

Data sources

Weather history comes from NASA POWER; ENSO records from the NOAA Climate Prediction Center; tornado records from the NOAA Storm Prediction Center; hurricane records from the NOAA National Hurricane Center; and ocean temperatures from NOAA OISST via NOAA CoastWatch. Each has its own privacy policy covering requests made to it.

Not a warning service

ENSO Atlas is a statistical guide based on past weather. It does not provide forecasts of individual storms, watches or warnings. Follow the National Weather Service and local emergency alerts for your safety.

Children

The app is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes and contact
